Junior High (Grades 7-8)
In Junior High, students transition in to the Jeffersonian method of education. They are taught work and study habits to prepare them for high school and beyond. The students will be doing research papers, studying the Constitution and writings of the Founding Fathers, continuing math and language arts skills, along with geography, biology, history, and studying classical cultural books. They are taught to take further responsibility for their education and learning experiences. The teacher mentors them to think, reason, and problem solve. They participate in educational field trips and projects to apply what they are learning to real life around them.
