High School (Grades 9-10)

Studying from the Harvard Classics and the Great books of the Western World, each student engenders the ability to develop a liberal education. Coupled with frequent discussion and debate, the classics help to solidify morals and valuable principles in the education of these future leaders. Because the ultimate responsibility of an education rests on the shoulders of the students as they prepare for college, the teacher mentors, counsels, and guides each student to help them to form solutions to problems that inevitably arise in life. With personal responsibility, a knowledge of the classics, and problem-solving skills, these students are held to a high level of expectation according to individual abilities and goals. Students take field trips to the State Legislature and to other areas such as Mexico and New York.
